How do I backup my PostgreSQL database?

There are two ways to backup your Collective Data database.

1. To manually backup the database go to the system the postgresql database was installed on. Find pgadmin3.exe. If installed to the default directory this would be located in C:\Program Files\PostgreSQL\8.2\bin. Launch pgadmin3.exe. Open the database server. Open databases. Right click on your fleet database and choose the backup option. Locate where you would like to backup the database using the elipse button. When naming the backup file make sure to give it an extension of .bak.
